This is a good reference. I used this book (7th edition) heavily during our didactic year and continue to use 8th edition after shifts on rotation to broaden my base of knowledge or change the way I approach a situation or condition.

It is one of my go to books as a PA. There are differences in this edition from the previous such as organization and topics in the book which make it physically larger, but the information is high yield, relevant and succinct.

the hardcover is too large and heavy to carry around as a quick reference ,that's why  ûrchased the ebook
